La Haine

While watching the movie , La Haine , i found myself laughing out loud and wincing in pain during this movie. The shooting is well done in this film. I felt as if i am walking around the ghettos and areas of Paris all along with Jewish Vinz, Arabian Said, and Black boxer Hubert for 24 hours .When one of their Arab friends ends up in coma, Vinz , the most aggressive one , swears to kill a cop for revenge, with their slang "pigs" with a gun that Vinz stole from a cop during the riot.I liked the idea of the Hubert which is " Hatred breeds hatred."tells Hubert to Vinz. Hubert is trying to convince him to find the right way , Vinz insists that what he learnt is on the streets and it taught him to behave this way in order to get along with the life that they are living.

The other the best scene of the movie happens in a public restroom where Vinz and Hubert are having an argument about Vinz's plan to kill a cop and suddenly , and old man comes out of the toilet and tells them how lucky he is for being able to "have a good poop" and i think he considers the "having a good poop" as some kind of freedom. it is suprising that there is a discrimination happening along not only with the color and also with the white race. So the fact is that they are unfairly marginalized not so much on a matter of race but because of social standing and class. And they have one way to react to the marginalization which is through aggression and hatred. The ending of the movie is both shocking and predictable. Unluckily for our three young men , the fall really matters rather than the landing.
