Prision

i do realoize that we talked quit a bit about prision workers in class on Tuesday but i wanted to expand more on what i was saying. when talking about wheather prisioners should get paid for there work, i do think that they should. you have to think about those people in the prisions. yes, most of them did commit a crime, but i think that we should look at the movie we watched 'the hate', as we could see in the movie, many people do not choose to crime because they want to, but because they have to to survive, and in many cases they have no way out of there troubles. it is in these ccases that i tink that it is important to pay them to help out there families and to make them feel that they are still part of the community.
i also stated in class that i would perfer that prisions do the work for companies rather than sending the jobs out to third world countries where in many cases the workes there may be slaves or not be treated well at all. by puing these jobs in the prisions, no only are we not promoting these wrong acts but we are also keeping the money in America. in many cases the prisioners will send the money to their families to spend or keep it for themselves, to spend when they get out. so i think that more companies should look to prisions for their labor instead of sending it abroad.
