Sexism

I would like to start the blog with a definition of sexism. Because nowadays majority of the people understand the term " Sexism" in different ways.Sexism is a kind of discrimination based on gender. Even though most of the people use the term of sexism to illustrate discrimination against women , I think sexism could also affect men , transsexuals, intersexuals , and also people who avoid their gender identities and roles. Why our people think about the discrimination against women when there is a discussion about sexism ?While many nations have laws that are planned to spoil sexism in places where is like a workplace , sexism usually break into society.

We could study that discrimination in wide variety of forms . For instance mostly in all countries , some people have a belief that women should stay at home taking care of the children , keeping an eye on the house instead of chasing their careers which is less likely to happen because a male person could get better positions at job or get better wages than women even though they have the same education.Others might feel that Men should not not get involved with women's work such as teaching, nursing . Sexism could also occur within a gender for example when women criticize each other for being too manly and challenge the ideas about how women should behave. Sexism also could be combined with racism or any other prejudices. i sometimes think that the most powerful way to fight discrimination is to make an example yourself , proving that men also could raise children , women could be in sciences and and other similar things. .
