How to Join
You will need to set up a gmail account first (it is free!). Simply go to mail.google.com/mail/signup and create an account by following the directions provided. After you have done this, go to the blog address and using your gmail account information (name and password), join the blog.

Requirements for Blog Posts
• Beginning the 2nd week of class you MUST write a minimum of TWO posts EACH week; one in response to each set of readings we will discuss throughout the week. For the purpose of this blog the week will begin on Sundays and end the following Saturday. As long as you post before midnight that Saturday, your submission will be on time.
• Each post should be a minimum of two paragraphs long.
• Please clearly sign your name to each of your blog posts. Anonymous submissions will not be counted.
• Please feel free to post images, links, or any other relevant information within your blog posts—Be creative!
• Please be respectful of the opinions of others. You do not need to agree with everything others may post, but you do need to be respectful. Disagreeing with each other in a professional manner is an integral part of the learning process. We can disagree with one another and still be friends—leave personal grudges and bad attitudes at home.
• Late responses will not be accepted and will subsequently affect your grade for blog responses (20%).
• Profanity is UNACCEPTABLE. While the point of the blog is to help create a more comfortable atmosphere in which to discuss our thoughts and opinions on the course materials and related issues, keep in mind that we are still in an academic setting. Thus, you should use language that is scholarly and professional. I will not tolerate profanity or any other inappropriate language. Failure to abide by these rules will result in the lowering of your grade for blog responses and may also affect your final grade in the course.
• Please feel free to contact me at any time should you have any questions or concerns regarding the course blog.
